About the author

Learning to play my first of five musical instruments evoked a drive to nourish creativity that has never ceased. From expanding my musical endeavors to writing editorial pieces on music, personnel profiles, lifestyle, entrepreneurs and the behavioral health industry, I’ve learned to channel my creativity into niche-specific outlets. Mastering this diverse editorial skill set has led me to many out-of-the-box assignments and leadership positions in journalism, content production and digital marketing.

I have a extensive experience in writing, editing and marketing in both print and digital content development industries. Currently, I am the group managing editor for Picket Fence Media, overseeing the editorial development, management and operations of the San Clemente Times, Dana Point Times and The Capistrano Dispatch. I’ve also worked as a managing editor in the healthcare industry for an Inc. 5000 company, overseeing the strategy, management and supervision of their U.S. and India staff writers, editors, senior staff writers, graphic designers, content team leaders and freelancers.

I’m also a freelance music journalist for multiple publications. I write music content published in both print and digital formats based on local, national and international news. I shoot and edit professional concert photography of local, national and internationally known bands to be compiled into photo galleries for digital publication.
