Along with other heavy metal initiators like Black Sabbath and Megadeth, Motorhead will be releasing a new album this year titled “Aftershock” that is officially available for pre-order in North America.

The next segment of Motorhead’s lengthy discography, equaling their 21st studio album, can be picked up for pre-order in a limited edition digipack on  Select your listening dissemination preference -“Aftershock” can be purchased in regular CD or vinyl format. A digital download will also be available soon for the final buildup to the October, 22 release.

Many reports have circulated the metal community in the past couple of months concerning the recent health of frontman Lemmy Kilmister. The first report was released in June after Kilmister, 67, suffered from hematoma – a solid swelling of clotted blood within a tissue, organ or body space – that forced the band to cancel summer European tour dates until his health improved.

After a presumed recovery, Motorhead took stage at Germany’s Wacken Open Air -the world’s largest heavy metal festival- on August 2., and had to cancel the rest of their set after only six songs due to his ill health.

Fortunately while Kilmister mends, his health conditions did not thwart the band from producing and releasing another album for devoted fans worldwide.

The “Aftershock” track listing includes:

“Coup de Grace”

“Lost Woman Blues”

“End Of Time”

“Do You Believe”

“Death Machine”

“Dust And Glass”

“Going To Mexico”

“Silence When You Speak To Me”

“Crying Shame”

“Queen Of The Damned”

“Keep Your Powder Dry”
