After the uncertainty of Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe’s future after being held for over a month in a Czech prison for manslaughter charges, a late summer tour involving his band, Dethklok and Gojira was canceled.

In response to the cancellation, Gojira announced on their Facebook page that they planned a small East Coast and Midwest tour involving eight gig stops. One of them happens to be Slipknot’s “Knotfest” on August 18th in Minneapolis.

The French metal band will feature a set from their latest, fifth album “L’enfant Sauvage.”

Here is a list of the tour stops:

Aug. 09 – New York, NY – Santos Party House Aug. 11 – Toronto, ONT – Heavy TO

Aug. 12 – Montreal, QC – Heavy MTL

Aug. 13 – Worcester, MA – Palladium (Upstairs) Aug. 16 – Chicago, IL – Bottom Lounge

Aug. 18 – Minneapolis, MN – Knotfest Aug. 19 – Milwaukee, WI – The Rave Aug. 20 – Cleveland, OH – Peabodys
